Ich denke, es gibt bessere Experten für diese Frage: die neunjährige Madina etwa, die jeden Tag vor dem NATO-Hauptquartier in Kabul bunte Armbänder verkauft; oder Kommandeur Hakimi, dem die Leute unter der Hand wegsterben, seit die Bundeswehr aus Faizabad abgezogen ist und die Aufständischen an Macht gewinnen.« Ronja von Wurmb-Seibels Buch ist eine Hommage an den Lebensmut der Afghanen, ein Plädoyer gegen den Krieg – und eine ungewöhnliche Bilanz des deutschen Afghanistan-Einsatzes.

Lesenswert, Interessant, unterhaltsam.

Gut geschrieben, angenehm zu lesen. Dafür 5 Sterne.
Die Authorin war dort und erzählt was sie erlebt und gesehen hat. D.h. Froschperspektive, aber authentisch: 5 Sterne.
Ihr Kontakte waren aber einseitig: Studenten, Künstler, NGOs. Es wäre interessant gewesen, etwas mehr vom Volk zu hören. Und von NATO Soldaten: 3 Sterne dazu.
Es gibt keinen Versuch die Kriege zu erklären. Nur immer die Betreuung, dass all ihre Kontakte friedliebende Menschen waren. Warum herrscht dort aber ein Dauerkrieg? Diese Diskrepanz sollte erklärt werden. 2 Sterne.
Die Autorin schreibt glaubwürdig, wie sie die Situation erlebte. Dafür wieder 5 Sterne.
Es sind 13 voneinander unabhängige Episoden. Man kann die unabhängig.voneinander lesen. Das Buch ist daher gut verständlich, auch wenn man es z.B auf einer Reise liest - immmer dann wenn man wieder einmal auf eine Flug oder ähnliches warten muss.
